I completed my training as a Licensed Home Inspector in April 2024 through the American Home Inspector Training program. My training covered everything from structural systems to HVAC, plumbing, and electrical components, giving me the knowledge and skills needed to ensure the safety and functionality of Ohio homes.
I was born in Columbus, Ohio, and raised in Newark, where I graduated from Newark High School in 1984. After graduation, I joined the US Air Force, where I worked as a satellite communications technician, installing, operating, and maintaining satellite communications terminals. This role was my introduction to technical work and problem-solving.
Following my military service, I worked as a satellite installation technician for Sagraves Satellites and later as a bartender at Tony’s Bar in Newark. In 1994, I began a nearly 30-year career at Newark Electric Sales Inc., managing counter sales, customer service, inventory, forklift operations, and warehouse duties. I stayed with the company until 2021.
In August 2021, I started working for myself, providing lawn maintenance, landscaping, and tree services. I also worked as an HVAC technician at Select Heating and Cooling from November 2021 to September 2023, installing and repairing heating and cooling systems.
In addition to my technical skills, I’ve been a professional musician since 2012, playing lead guitar in local bands and performing solo acoustic shows. When I’m not working, I enjoy sports, traveling, and spending time with friends over good food.
